The Exciting
My sister Lizs' girlfriend, Tiff, had twins on July 3rd.
Mama and babies are happy and healthy.
We are all SO excited to finally have
these two new bundles of joy with us.
Cameron, my sisters son,
is at the hospital with Gram and Grampa now
getting acquainted with his new brother and sister,
learning how to hold them, be around them,
care for them
but most importantly be a loving Big Brother.
(congrats Cam!)
The Annoying
I am slowly recovering from oral surgery.
More important to a T1 than access to supplies
(scrips, strips and dips...that was lame, I know)
is Dental Insurance.
(or just more important to me,
my teeth are not great, bad genetics, not enough
flouride treatments as a child, habits, T1, oh
and my mouth has a mind of it's own!)
How elite and expensive are Dentists, argh!!
But it was much needed, seriously necessary and
I am relieved, SO relieved.
No more seriously annoying, constant insanity
of trying to deal with the pain and infections.
The antibiotic is key. The pain meds help but I hate
taking them, they make me stay awake.
I feel no pain and I am comfortable
so I go, go and go some more.
And they make me weird.
Ok, weirder than normal.
Wait, I am Not Normal.
Hmmmm, you figure it out.
I am too tired to care.
Just happy to Not be in pain!

OH MY!!!! They are such little cuties!! They look so teeny tiny too. I'm glad everyone is doing well. What exciting news - congrats to the whole family.
Hope your mouth is feeling better too. Ugh, how I hate the dentist.
ps: I happen to like "weird / not normal" people . . . I guess I am one myself, and I think we have more fun!! :)
