15 minutes

15 minutes is one quarter of a football game.
15 minutes is good for a power nap or a power walk.
15 minutes is a recommended amount of time to stretch before you work out.
You could get in a good session with a book in 15 minutes.
You could get in a decent session with a game in 15 minutes.
You're health can be thoroughly assessed in 15 minutes....
wait, what?

I doubt any of us would you like the past 6 months of your lives to be summed up by a number in 15 minutes for $240.

But I will go through the madness that is the standard assembly line with my Endo today.
I will try to ask as many questions I can; hope to get as many answers as I can without spending more money.
I will try to be ok with my A1c result.
I will try not to get depressed.
I will try.

Good luck at your appt Crystal! And it is sad that we only get that much of a dr's time when we spend 24/7 of 365 days a year trying to figure out our D.

I hear you ... we're entitled to more time with the endos considering how much money they charge for those 15 minutes.

And... don't forget, the first few minutes they're flipping through your file.
It's not just our endos though, it's all doctors these days. The ones I've spoken with (not as a patient) would love to have more time.
I hope your appointment was good.
